Senior Laboratory Analyst

Do you have a Laboratory background and are keen to take the next step in your career? We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to strengthen our team.

Working independently with remote support from senior colleagues, you will analyse and prepare laboratory samples and reagents and calculate and interpret the analytical results, ensuring that all jobs are completed on time, all instrumentation is working and maintained whilst delivering key objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysis and preparation of laboratory samples and reagents in accordance with laboratory test procedures.

• The calculation and interpretation of analytical results.

• Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.

• Ensuring Quality procedures are adhered to.

• Data entry into LIMS.

• Calibration, equipment and balance checks.

• Housekeeping, ensuring the laboratory work area is clean, tidy and free from rubbish.

• Stock control.

• Manage workload within given remit to meet client requirements.

• Liaise with sampling team, waste disposal team and operations team on site to manage workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• HNC or degree in a science related subject and five years laboratory experience.

• Previous experience in a laboratory environment.

• Experience using GC-FID or GC-MS systems would be advantageous

WHAT WE OFFER YOU:

• SALARY: €34,000

• LOCATION: Leixlip, Ireland

• WORKING PATTERN: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
