WORKING PATTERN: Monday-Friday 37.5h per week

Join Our Team as a Laboratory Technician!

Are you passionate about building a career in the scientific field? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you working in our brand new, industry-leading laboratory! We are looking for Laboratory Technicians to join our dynamic team at our new Crayford Laboratory.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with Analysts, and Senior Analysts for sample preparation, extraction, and analysis. You’ll gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful scientific work, with full training provided.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and extraction of analytical samples and reagents including basic analysis using classical wet chemistry techniques in accordance with laboratory test procedures.

• Basic laboratory testing where appropriate.

• The Calculation of results.

• Data entry into LIMS.

• Calibration, equipment and balance checks.

• Housekeeping, ensuring the laboratory work area is clean, tidy and free from rubbish.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• A minimum of G.C.S.E grade C or above in Science, Maths and English or two years laboratory experience.

DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Industry Experience

• No experience necessary if the qualification requirements are satisfied.
